This notice explains how information submitted through the Everest quotation and claim-notification forms is used.
Information we collect
When you request a quotation, Everest Financial Services collects the contact and cover-selection information you provide. A claim notification may also include claimant details, information about the deceased, a policy number, date of death and preferred branch.
How the information is used
Authorised Everest consultants use the information to respond to your request, assist with a funeral-cover application or guide you through a claim. The information should be retained only for as long as required for these purposes and applicable legal obligations.
Sensitive documents
The online claim-notification form does not request uploads of identity documents, death certificates or bank statements. An Everest consultant will explain the approved process for providing required documents.
Your choices
You may ask Everest to correct or delete information submitted through the website, subject to applicable record-keeping and legal requirements.
